DAY 6

The Value of a Soul

I recently read a funny story that a lady told about her mother:

My mother had just finished taking a CPR class at a local college when she and I were in the mall and saw a big crowd gathered around a still body. Mom took off running at a speed I didn’t know she could muster, yelling, “Everyone back! I know CPR!” Just as

she threw herself next to the body and was about to begin, a pair of strong hands pulled her to her feet. “Ma’am,” said a police officer beside her, “we are trying to arrest this man.”

Are you willing to do whatever it takes to save a life?

Everywhere we go and everywhere we look, there are people that need Jesus. We encounter people all the time that are physically sick, emotionally distraught, uncertain about their future, and/or in need of a friend.

We have a lifeline. We have a hope that most people don’t have and a peace that  passes all understanding. Reach out to someone today. Even the smallest kindness could have the greatest impact. There is a saying that people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. If that is so, then the opposite is also true. If people know how much you care, then they will care about what you know. You have no idea how many opportunities there will be to share the gospel – if you first show His loving kindness working through you.

Things to Pray About:

Who can I bless today?

Help me to show your love to all I meet, so that I can share the gospel even more.
